Are details of previous appeals available?

Was thinking it would be interesting and/or helpful to find out the result of previous appeals, if any. I know there have been people in our situation before, but I don't know if they appealed or the result.

Or is it all irrelevant whether a precedent has already been set? Or are these things all kept confidential?

Thanks all

Thanks tiggytape, as always! Of course, I hadn't thought of confidentiality type aspects. Daft of me.

You can get aggregated information - number of appeals and how many succeeded. If a case goes to the LGO and is considered significant they will publish an anonymised version of their ruling. If the ruling concerns interpretation of the Admissions Code it does set a precedent. But very few cases turn on interpretation of the Code.

Could we have a link to the LGO case studies
