Hackney Primary Allocation: Benthal Primary School

My son has got a place at Benthal Primary School in Stoke Newington. We loved it when we looked round 18 months ago, but it's changed a lot since then. Loads of staff have resigned and two heads have gone. I keep meeting nervous parents with kids there. Does anyone have any updated information?

I'd also love a little more info about this situation. My hard-to-please partner and I had a tour of Benthal recently and he pronounced it "better than some private schools."

I also felt really positive about it. I could see the kids looks enormously happy and I was especially impressed with the the work displayed (even for the tiny ones) and the huge huge amount of outdoor space. The new playground plans also look incredible. But will all of this go downhill with a new head? I heard some gossip that the head and teachers who went really needed to go though, so who knows.

Any other opinions much appreciated.
