Hi Mums,

Considering a big move to Cornwall but hearing different stuff about the schools. Would love to hear from any Cornish mums with experiences of these schools. Also are any of you considering Truro school for the senior school? Look forward to your comments and thanks.

It is a few years since I lived down there but, if I remember rightly, Truro Prep goes to 11 and usually feeds into the senior school whereas Polwhele goes to 13 &, I think, many of those children then go to out of county boarding schools so, in part, it depends on the secondary experience you want. Truro Prep is also a lot bigger. There's the logistical point of where you are going to live too as they are on completely different sides of town. Truro Prep is very convenient if you're working at the hospital!

Hello
Are you still considering moving to Cornwall? We are in the same position and are looking at various schools, have you had further thoughts on polwhele or truro prep?

Would be interested in hearing thoughts on both.
Thanks
