Hampton Hill primary schools - Stanley and Carlisle

Hi there

We are (hopefully) moving to the area soon and will be applying for schools for 2015. We are keen to hear from any parents with experience of Stanley and Carlisle schools.

I've visited Carlisle recently and seen it's January ofsted report which wasn't as complimentary as I'd expected (I quite liked the school!) I've not managed to see Stanley yet but hear good things.. my main question is how much opportunities to get involved in sports, drama etc do the kids get given the size of the school

Any insights would be gratefully received!

Hello, my daughter was at Carlisle for a year, before we moved away. It was a lovely school, very focused on the well-being of the children and the teachers were great. I remember after school activities being offered...tennis, gymnastic etc. from memory.

It also feeds into Hampton hill junior which is supposed to be great.

I haven't seen Stanley.
