Has anyone's child taken part in the Junior Language Challenge?

My daughter's primary school is thinking about taking part.......I've heard its good, but I'm a bit unsure...any feedback would be good? Smile

Hi yes my eldest son really enjoyed the challenge last year!
Its amazing how much they learn whilst taking part!

We are entering this year also my 8 year old wants to take the challenge!!!

Really good fun def recommend!!!

Mine have done it twice and really enjoyed it. They have new software now, so I'm not sure what it's like.

dd did it a couple of times and got to a regional semifinal twice. The time pressure tests are hard. It does depend on the language though , some are tougher than others. Greek was particularly demoralising, Kazakh tough, Japanese quite fun. It certainly gave her a taste for languages, some of which she would never otherwise have tried, and confidence to learn.
