DD is 5 and we've suddenly gone from 1 or 2 word answers in a box on a work sheet to making up sentences using her spellings.
It is a pretty good attempt considering she's 5 and its the first time she's written anything this length but there are some mistakes. She's used all her spellings and got them right, some of the other words aren't spelled how they should be but they make sense phonetically (i.e wen instead of when). There aren't any full stops but she has used a capital at the start of each sentence.
Am I supposed to go through it with her and help her correct her spellings/punctuation, adding a note to tell the teacher I've done this, or do I just send it in how it is?
