Report cards

Did England ever have cards with headings on them for primary? Like A for 90-100%, etc? I wish I can see some letters/numbers instead of "Dd is doing really well in maths" at parent evening or those above/under average kind of report card at end if term. Not to use to brag but to see exactly how she's doing. If she has a C in writing then we can spend a few bit here and there during holidays to practice some. I have to ask to see the teacher's estimated level for dd. Why can't we automatically get all those levels end of term, at meetings and/or end of term?

We did have NC levels till some idiot abolished them. Now we're back to spilling a chicken's innards on the floor and stirring goats' teeth to check how well the child is doing.
