Views on Amesbury School?

DH and I are looking at possibly The Royal Scool or Amesbury in Hindhead for our DS. There seems to be a general feeling that the Royal is good (albeit slightly untested still for boys) but I can't discover much about Amesbury bar its website, which is impressive but of course that doesn't mean much necessarily!

Anyone have any experience of Amesbury to help us weigh things up? We are visiting both but interested in experiences of others!

Hi l, I realise this is an old thread but can did you manage to find out much about the school in question? I’m currently having the same issue.

Does anyone else have any experience of the school they could share?

Amesbury is a lovely school. Read the recent ISI report and go and visit. There are lots of independent schools in the area but without visiting you won’t know which is the best fit for your child and family.
