Reigate/Dorking Primary Schools

We are in the process of moving out of Wandsworth London! Trying to decide on an area within Reigate, Dorking and surrounding villages. I understand that the primary schools are pretty oversubscribed so wanted to get some feedback from parents on schools in the area as this will guide our move! I have worked in many schools and don't think that Ofsted provides the best overview and would prefer to hear from parents whose children have attended schools in the area or know of them through word of mouth. I think we would prefer a smaller school which values a creative approach to learning.

Any advice much appreciated! Thank you

how old are your dc ? Many schools in Reigate, and beyond, are separate infant/juniors.

Thanks for replying Lizs. My son is only two, but having to think ahead to make sure that we will be in an ok catchment area. Happy for him to go to an infant and then junior school. Have heard some good things about Dovers green?

Thanks for your help and interest

There were other posts recently about DG. Depends where you are considering living really . tbh there are no bad schools in Reigate !

Thank you so much for this Lizs! If anyone else has a child at Dovers Green or can recommend another infant school (including nursery), I'd be very grateful
