These two schools are in Lower Sunbury. I was hoping someone could give me some first-hand experience of either or both of them. We are in the process of finding a reception place for our son in Sept 2015.
Both schools are Ofsted rated as good...
Are they nurturing schools? Do they have good pastoral care? Or are they more academically driven?
Any info gratefully received!

Good schools run by same head teacher. Both my children have attended Chennestone at some stage. They are the only 'Good' schools in L.Sunbury as inspected by OFSTED, so be honest, they are probably your best bet. Chennestone is fairly academic when it comes to brighter children. SEN kids seem to get a fair deal with lots of attention, but kids in the middle are probably not given as much attention .. which sadly is probably the same for many state schools as they are sooooo target driven. Having said this, their SAT results are above national average, if that interest you. The deputy head is a really nice guy that has promoted sports at the school as head tends not to be that competitive… he has made a big difference and these days, seems to run things on the ground. Hope that helps!
