GHS 7+ exams

Is there anyone here who's DD wrote the 7+ tests at Guildford High? Just wondering if anyone had an idea of number of places to applicants this year..

Gh only had 6 spaces this year. Depends if anyone who got an offer has rejected it. So you know where on the waitlist you are ?

No we don’t know . I wanted to know if the ones who were offered a place if they have a deadline to pay the deposit . May be after that date I can call and check . If anyone here knows please let me know x

It’s best to ask the school they will be happy to tell you.
Do you have a back up ? Or do you need to meet a deadline somewhere else ?

That’s a good idea . No we don’t have any back up she can continue in her current school till 11.

I would recommend you talk to the school they will tell you where you are on the list.
Also to let them know you are keen for a place. They can get notice from any current year 2 beginning of next term so it’s best to contact them.

Realise it’s a very old thread. Please someone be kind to share what to expect for 7 plus and what preparation would help etc. thank you 🙏
