Muswell hill primary school

Went to view muswell hill primary school the other day which appeared to be a very friendly and nurturing school. However I did have a few concerns.

  1. noise levels seemed to be very high in most classes and questioned how conducive to learning this is. 2). Did not appear to have much money compared to other MH schools in the area Eg building very worn, lighting in classrooms not great, IT facilities somewhat minimal, not sufficient funds to employ a specialist for modern foreign language thus all the teachers teach their class French.

I got a sense it's quite a liberal and creative approach to learning which on one hand think is great but also concerned whether it's a little too liberal for my already free spirited son who dislikes structure.

I would be greatful for any feedback good or bad from anyone who knows this school as maybe my concerns are not that imp. As children appeared happy and results are good. Tia

My daughter is in reception there. She is the youngest in the school and was really apprehensive about her starting school. In my opinion I have only good things to say about Muswell Hill Primary. It is a really nurturing school and the teachers really seem to care about the children. It is quite liberal but I like that and all the children that I see are happy and seem to enjoy being in school. I would not hesitate to recommend it.
