We are looking for a tutor to help our extremely bright but very sensitive son who is currently in year 1. He is suffering emotional issues at school due to the treatment of the teachers. We want to supplement his learning and get him in to a position of liking learning again. Can anyone recommend a tutor in London NW3 postcode or near by?

I can't help you but maybe try local site on mumsnet?
However, is tutoring really what needed or a long, hard look at his school.
I am sure you have already talked to his teacher??

I agree that it sounds like the school is the bigger issue, but some tutoring might help boost your son's confidence.

I had some tutoring before an entrance exam for a secondary school (I was entering at an unusual time and my parents were concerned that I hadn't covered everything that would be on the test) and it did really help me feel better about myself. I have sent you a PM, OP.
