HELP.... Need a superhero costume ASAP

Dd is going on a trip to an innovation centre on Thursday and today the school sent a text to say can they take a superhero costume as that is the topic this half term.

I have no idea what to send

Any ideas?

Do you know anyone you could borrow one off?

Or if you are feeling crafty you could try to make something like this I made something similar for my dd for a superhero party a few weeks ago and it was pretty easy.

have you got a mans old shirt? turn it into a lab coat to make a scientist? you could make a little name label of a famous female scientist. DD1 wanted to be Marie Curie at a recent superhero day but ended up in a nurses outfit.

A cape? Not sure if girls have capes - having boys we have lots of royal robes etc that are easy to turn into a superhero cape by tacking on a logo of some sort.

Check with DD what she wants. I noticed in H&M yesterday they had a rack of costumes. A nip to the shops? They usually just have Princess costumes for girls!

Do you have a big sainsburys near you? They often have great and cheap fancy dress

Lycra legins and pants on the outside. Classic.

We sent dd to school as Supersum Girl when they had a super hero day. One white t shirt, fabric pens and a large calculator. Job done and all the teachers thought it was fab.
