Hi there im wanting to home school my children till i find a suitable school, do i have to inform anyone if so who?

No, although if your council know your child exists, they may contact you. Look up the guidelines (if you haven't already), as they're v useful.

Education otherwise, educational freedom, ed yourself, face book, local yahoo group.
Where are you?
Government web sight has the law in black and white.
Education can take many different forms, full time education does not have to mean phonics, math ect. Even if you do you can do it on the bus, in a shop, cafe, park ect.
If your child has never been on a school register you don't have to tell anyone, does not mean you won't get reported by someone with nothing better to do.
Read, read and read some more.
Go to home ed meet ups.
