I have made up a small hamper with minature soaps, lotions, wooden nail brush, tissues etc. I guessed most women would like that. I know I would.

I was wondering this too. The only thing I could think of was a little selection of Bodyshop stuff, a bit like your suggestion Joceybean.

NOT chocolates!

geekgrrl · 18/07/2006 12:53

what's wrong with chocolates? You've got me all paranoid now - got some lovely little chocolate selections from Hotel Chocolat for the dds' teachers and teaching assistants....

Joceybean · 18/07/2006 13:14

They do all sorts of travel size toiletries in boots and superdrug as well. Loads of choice. I bought the teaching assistants a pack of three scented candles each.

Because a friend of mine who is a primary school teacher complains that she ends up with 30 boxes of chocolates every christmas and at the end of the school year....not that she doesn't appreciate them! She just doesn't know what to do with them all.

I always offer to help her out

some recipes on this thread - have made and put in lovely ceramic bowls/plates or even mugs....

rocky road and white choc cranberry fudge - went down a real treat.

oops forgot to post the link

here

I am going to make brownies for everyone, after suggestion on another thread.
I have a lot to do, 2x teachers, 2x TAs, one PPA teacher (whom they luurrrve) and the head too as DS1 is leaving this year, so this seemed an economical option.

Eidsvold - your recipes sound fab but what are choc melts?
Thanks for the help as I want to get making!
