canonbury primary up to date feedback

Any MNetters with up to date feedback on Canonbury ? Also, if anyone has experience with New North Academy . I would be glad to hear your comments, as I'm going nuts trying to figure out which school would be best for DD. Thanks

Hi. No first hand experience but friends DC is at Canonbury and they are happy with it. I am assuming you know the past few years history but PM me if you need to be filled in. No info on New North Academy sorry. If you're in with a chance at these 2 are you not also in with a chance for Tyndale (a consensus thumbs up here on MN)? A decent bunch to pick from,Islington primaries now generally pretty good.

Thanks for your reply.Yes, I heard vaguely about Canonbury's history in the last few years.. that's why I am a bit unsure. Nice to hear you have friends who like it there.
According to last year's admission we are only just outside catchment area. Same with Tyndale..
Rotherfield and New North Academy might be the closest to us..it seems Rotherfield is improving. Let's hope for the best ;)
