Open Day - how do we get the most out of it?

We are going to an open day this week for a prep / pre-prep and I'd love some advice on what to look for and what questions to ask so we get the most out of the morning.

I always pay close attention to the kids that how you around, if they do. I think if a primary school is happy to let young children (note which form they are from) do a tour, especially on their own, speaks volumes about how well the kids are doing. Especially if they are polite and helpful and can speak to adult strangers well.

Generally look at how cheerful the kids look and how well they interact with younger kids and adults. Also meet the office staff, if they are happy indicates a happy school.
