Good Pre-Prep School in Esher

Hi

I am looking at Pre-prep schools in Esher for my 4 year old DS for next year. I have done some initial search on Milborne Lodge and Emberhurst school but do not know any parents who send their childrens to these schools. I was wondering if mumsnet members living in Esher and may be with childrens at one of the above schools can help me?

Hi its me again.... Any advice please?

Danes Hill in Oxshott has a good Pre prep. Claremont has a prep I think.
Cobham Free...not sure if it has Pre prep.

Thanks Janacek. The two schools you mentioned are a bit far for us, hence I was looking at Emberhurst and Milbourne Lodge. Do you know anything about these two schools?

My neighbour's son went to Milbourne and was happy with it. I know nothing about Emberhurst, soory.

I have lots of friends who send their children to Milbourne Lodge. It's a VERY traditional academic school. They get fantastic results, but in my view do it in a pretty forceful way. Having said that, some people I know swear by it.

Horses for courses, I guess.
