Hi there,
Would anyone be able to suggest some good tutors for the private school entrance exams in Redbridge?
Looking at Forest, Chigwell, Bancroft and even the grammar schools.
DS is a very bright child going to the local state school which just does not care about bright kids.
He is getting really demotivated.
Please help.

Have you looked at tutor sites like First Tutors, Top tutors, or online tutoring- Carol Voderman, MathsWhizz, et al?

You could also help him yourself with books and free sites like the BBC bitesize, etc.

PastSellBydate has tons of sites that are useful and helpful. You could look for her posts on here.

Genie Tutors are very good. Don't know if they operate in your area. Look at their website www.genietutors.co.uk

I know of a Deputy Head who's just had her second baby. She is an outstanding teacher and absolutely lovely. Lives in Loughton. She may be able to tutor. PM me and I'll ask her for you.
