We are hoping to buy in Barnes in the near future. Which primary would you recommend applying for? We have two toddlers... Thank you!

They are all good. Honestly, there aren't any bad schools in Richmond borough. You'll be fine. Just buy as near to a school as you possibly can!

The catchments are tiny
You get lots of families buy those terraces right near to Barnes Primary
Once their eldest is in school they move out to Mortlake etc but under the sibling rule all their kids get in. So unless you live very close to the school you get shunted out to Roehampton, or go private. not great. So check the catchment distances of the schools VERY carefully before you buy. My friend couldn't believe she didn't get in on distance.
