Good Cuffley primary schools?

I'm new to the area and need to put in applications for my 3year old for primary next year (2014)
I've heard cuffley primary is a good school but apparently a new headteacher has taken over and has not been up to its usual high standards.
I don't know people in the area, and I am in desperate need of another mothers knowledge and advice.

I don't know the area but it's worth looking at "furthest distance admitted" for your local schools as you don't exactly get a choice, you get to express a preference.

I'm hesitant as what to put as my first preference and so on, in case I don't get my first preference nor second and end up with a school I don't want :/
