ST GREGORY CATHOLIC AND MONTPELIER PRIMARY EALING: HELP AND FEEDBACK

Hello mums,
I am looking into schools for my 4 years DS from September 2014. I live in Ealing in the catchment area both for Montpelier Primary School and ST Gregory Catholic school. I a a practising Catholic and I would be glad to send my son to ST gregory. Nevertheless, I am concern about the vibe in a catholic school: is it too conservative? I am Italian and I attended Catholic schools myself. My experience has not been always positive. Does anyone have any first-hand experience of either schools (in regards to general vibe/children behaviour/way of teaching/ anything that can illuminate me)?. I would be very grateful if you could help me! Especially because I ahve just moved from Italy and I am very new to the area and UK school system.
I hope some of you can help me.
Italian mum

Don't know about st Gregory's but my kids went to RC primary school in London. The Catholicism is nothing like the conservative style, say in Sicily. Caring, sharing kind of thing. Usually v diverse too. Hope this helps.

I have only ever taught in catholic schools and I am not catholic-it is a lovely ethos. I would send my child to both of those schools but would go for st Gregory's to ensure a place at catholic secondary.
