Does anyone know if I can sign ds up for something like mathletics as a parent, or if it needs to be done through school? Also would I have to pay?
Thank you :)

Yes you can sign up as a parent. I got it for my dd after getting it in the school I taught in. You have to pay for a years subscription, I think it was about £36 pounds although not sure now as I didn't bother this year because dd's school have now got it anyway!

Just checked it's now £39 for a home licence. Click onto home purchase on the website and the information is there. Smile

Hi Cat98

Yes you can do mathletics through home but you will have to subscribe (fees should be explained on the site).

Over the years the following (including mathletics) have been praised here on MN:

mathletics: www.mathletics.co.uk/
Maths Whizz: www.whizz.com/
Komodo Maths: komodomath.com/
Mathsfactor: www.themathsfactor.com/

My advice to you is have a good look at example lessons/ games and take advantage for free trials - also involve your DC. They are all slightly different, some are more competitive than others, some appeal more to boys or girls, the age of your child may be a factor and prices vary - so have a good look around and try them out a bit before deciding which to go with.
