Does any-one have anything good to say about this school? I have only read bad reviews except for one. Considering sending my daughter there but conflicted! Please help!

Yep, I do, Having sent girls to the school for more than 10 years. I think some of the comments on the forum are based on parents tours of the school, and from friends comments. They are entitled to an opinion of course, but they dont have experience of many of the good points about the school. The school turns out well mannered, flexible, friendly children who head off to secondary school - whether indie, upper or grammar with vim, vigour and lots of confidence. the facilities are amazing, certainly not a hot house, indeed in my experience a little more pushing would not have gone amiss. High March was never an option for us (too far), but MG certainly took in girls from High M and St Mary's, Every school will attract some criticism from parents, but if you want children with a wide circle of friends (4 form group intake) who get plenty of responsibility and prep for later schooling, you would do well to beat MGS. My girls loved every second and their secondary schooling was testimony to the school. I have no experience of HM so wont comment, but once a Maltman's Girl, always a Maltman's Girl, as mine keep reminding me.

I have met girls who went there who ended up at my DDs secondary school. Their parents were happy with it and they were quite academic girls. Godstowe at High Wycombe is better though!

Can anyone advise what maltmans green school,is like at the moment please? What is the schools main focus and what kind of girls go there. My daughter is 3 years old and I am possibly considering this school, but would like feedback. I am also considering Royal Masonic.

Also does anyone know what their 11+ results were this year at an overall percentage as not curently on their website for 2017. Only for previous years.

I have friends with children there. My impression is that it is not for the shy retiring girl. It is quite pushy in a number of ways and I have heard comments about girls feeling they are underperforming if they get 9/10. However, I have friends who love it and for the right girl it is great. I am not sure re 11 plus. Bear in mind a lot of girls move onto public school

Thanks for the feedback. Sounds a bit harsh that girls feel they are under performing getting 9/10. I have heard mixed comments too. That's why I'm a bit unsure. My daughter is generally quite talkative and outgoing, and has a strong personality. But in a new environment can be a bit reserved and shy at first.
