Apps for 5/6 year old

Was hoping any other Parents or Teachers out there could point me in the directon of some good apps that will help my son in between traditional "practice" with letter formation, writing in general, words /learning to read.

There are so many out there Im struggling to find some really good ones.

Hello,

My five year old loves funland made by cambridge English, you can search for it on the istore or google play and it is free. Mostly good for reading skills.

My DD loves one called Tap the Cat, it is a whole mix of all the things you want and all the activities they do end up in a book they 'wrote' at the end.
