Uniform name tapes.....sew or iron on?

Any recommendations? Woven (itchy?) Printed (do they fade?) iron on (do they peel off?)

i bought some iron on tapes from a company called simply stuck when dd1 started school 3 years ago. theyre still there now with dd2 wearing them. i also bought sew in tapes which i have never used because i now always use a laundry marker from woolies which was about £1.99. i dont have time (cant be bothered) to iron/sew in tapes.

our iron-on tapes have stayed on fine. we don't tumble dry, does that make the difference?

marker pens are very easy otherwise. life's too short to sew name tapes on.
