Hi,

My daughter is starting Year 1 this year. Out of interest would like to know the curriculum in private schools for Year 1.

Don't private schools follow the KS1 national curriculum?

Every private school is different. Ours usually has a meeting at the beginning of the year to tell parents what will be covered.

Some follow national curriculum a lot don't.

Ask the school, it will be very different depending on school in the private sector.

Ours also follow national curriculum. However just wanted to check what other schools teach extra ?
