Anyone know next year's half term dates... roughly?

Try looking on your local authority web site, they're on ours for the next 2 years.

It looks as though ours are 23rd-27th Oct. Probably best though to google your area and term dates 2006.

Ours is Monday 23rd to Friday 27th October (that's Croydon LEA)
