At my sons parents evening his teacher said that he deliberately develops the way he speaks. I didn't ask him what he meant at the time but its kinda bugging me now. Is that a good thing? And what exactly does it mean?

Maybe he means trying out new words and sentence structures? Sounds like a good thing to me! Why not email the school to ask, just say what you said here, I'm sure they wouldn't mind.

Agree with others, just ask. All anyone will be able to offer on here is conjecture. Why not simply email the school and ask if the teacher could drop you a note or speak to you to explain what he/she meant?

thanks, yes I think I will. I didn't ask at the time as the teacher seemed to be quite stressed and im the kind of person who always trying to put others at ease! I know self confidence issues. !!Wink
