The massive discontent with the SATS which is talked about on this site is shared by many teachers. And the problem is that the tests being proposed by the government are even worse: do-or-die tests which test a very narrow range of skills and DON'T produce reliable results or are even valid in themselves. I really think EVERYONE needs to club together and consider a boycott...
