KS2 SATS Thresholds

Does anyone know if the Year 6 SATS thresholds have changed this year? I've seen a couple of references suggesting that they've been raised. Reason I'm asking is that DD2 has been a certain level all year in reading, and is teacher assessed as being at that level in her report, but didn't quite make it in the SATS papers. No major problem as she's done well, but I am curious whether she just didn't perform on the day, or whether the standard has changed.

Yes - level 4 went up by one mark, and level 5 by 3 marks, which is quite a hefty rise. Level 6 up by 2 marks aswell.

Has the level raised overall, so the reports reflects the new level?

The thresholds vary year to year to reflect the difficulty of the test papers and the whim of the government

Is there any online info to let parents know what the thresholds are please?

Thanks in advance !
Katie
