SATS Levels - expected v average

Does anyone know if there's any data which shows the average sats levels at the end of each year group, rather than the expected sats levels?

I'm just curious and would like to know how my dd's fare against the average, rather than expected.

Our school gives you a breakdown of the whole cohorts results and the same for the whole nation. So it is easy to see how your child is performing compared to peers and how the school as a whole is performing compared to the the average nationally.

That said, at our school the expected level is 2b but the average is level 3 because it was achieved by approx 55% of pupils this year. Except for writing where the average was 2a only 45% got a level 3.

That's a statutory requirement - all schools are supposed to do that. Smile
