Hi - we moved to Fulham last week from the States and are now looking for a primary school for our 7 year old little lady. Most are oversubscribed....any tips and tricks? What do I need to do first???

Are you looking at state or private? If state, did you not ring the council to find out which schools would have space for you? If private, be aware holidays start this or next week at most private schools so you have very little time to sort things out!

this is what you should have read before coming here I guess (still worth it):

The Council was of no help but I will call again. I was told before we arrived that we could apply to schools and be placed on the waitlist. I was also told that we would most likely get in when waitlisted. Thanks!

Well it really depends on where you live. Just check primary league tables on bbc and see which ones near you are okay. Pm me where you live if you need more help. I know the fulham schools quite well.
