Anyone want to tell me about theirs, are they happy they chose it, or did you choose English over an available Welsh school?

DSs nursery application is coming up and there is a nursery attached to the local Welsh school, but I'm completely new to it and don't know where to start!

My 3 kids go to a Welsh medium primary and I'm very happy I chose it; they are in year 3, year 1 and the nursery class. I am a welsh learner myself and just love hearing the kids speak two languages so naturally. Do you speak Welsh yourself?

I think I'd start by visiting your local schools though, that's the best way to get a feel for which one might be right for your child.

I have a vague splattering of Welsh at the moment, I'm making an effort to learn more as he's learning even now in pre-nursery (sure start). DH is biligual (french) and also speaks a few other languages, and DS was picking up spanish words and phrases on holiday as well as the welsh hes learning now, so I think he may have inherited DHs knack for it.
