Can anyone recommend some ipad maths apps for ds1. I want to find a fun way to help him with addition and subtraction

Hungry guppy is good for getting a feel for addition, size of the numbers, then you can move on to hungry fish for addn and subtraction, wings for multiplication. Squeebles good for fractions and times tables.

Squeebles are great! :-)

A good website is Hit the Button for all sorts of different maths exercises. Start with the Number Bonds section.

Mathspop for simple additions/number bonds is good for little ones.

Then Squeebles....can't thank them enough: dd1 learned all her tables over one summer holiday thanks to Squeebles. We used them for spellings, as well as division, tables, and addition!

I'd recommend Komodo - we think it's fab. You sign up on www.komodomaths.com then download the ipad app.
