CROCS - ARE THEY SMALL SIZED?

Sorry for posting here but not sure where else!!

Do Crocs come small, DS is a size 3 but the Crocs I got him today sort of fit him in length but the strap is very, very tight

Wondering if a size 4 would be any better or will I be sending them back as well

I find them quite generous in width - they are one of the only summer shoes that comfortably fit my 4 year old dd who has G/H width feet. She is a size 8.5 and I bought her 8-9. They fit just right but she will have grown out of them by the end of the year.

I think some crocs have the American sizes on them but I can't remember how to convert to UK sizes. If you google I'm sure there is an explanation/guide as I remember being confused when I ordered some online a few years back.

If you are thinking of children wearing them to school check they are allowed. No crocs rule at our primary. [I find they come up big on size].

I find they come up big actually.

I find the original style crocs come up small and the newer styles come up very small.

I find them small too. There appears to be plenty room in them but the heel strap is tight and therefore the foot is pushed forward - if that makes sense. My DD has started wearing them with the heel strap forward now like a clog.

I bought my crocs in America and they say size W9 M7. I am size 7 so I guess the M size is the English size.

There can be quite a significant difference between 2 pairs of crocs which are supposedly the same size. I was told that the sizing varies between croc 'factories' - apparently the ones made in Italy come up smaller than the ones made elsewhere (can't remember where, maybe China?). So think it's best to get your child to try on a few pairs to get the best fit.

My crocs definitely have american sizing. I'm a UK 5 but in size 7 crocs.
