Reigate Schools

We are about to move to Reigate in 2 weeks, what are the chances of getting into Holmesdale for reception starting now (Y1 in Sept) and what are the other good schools in the area? The house we are moving to is in a good location and puts us quite high up the wait list for Holmesdale apparently... but obviously without any movement in the school that doesn't mean anything. Any advice from the local Reigate mums would be much appreciated.

Tbh it's not what you want to hear but I would think near on impossible!

As far as I know all the schools in Reigate are full I know a couple of people in your situation who have been offered a school in Leigh or Ashtead.

I'd ring round all the local schools tomorrow and see where actually has a place and take it from there.

Sorry should add go surrey online smart thing type in your postcode etc and you'll get a list of all your nearest schools to work through.

Wray common and Sandcross are meant to be good but are probably full.

Good luck!

Thank you racmum, I was kind of hoping that there may be some movement over the summer. My son's current school finishes reception next week, so he would have completed reception and could start fresh in y1... Am I dreaming though?!
