I think we heard in less than a week as it was a bit of a no-brainer (school hadn't applied the admissions code properly even though it was an infant class size appeal). Do you think you have a case? Did the panel seem to be sympathetic or see your point? Good luck.

Hi, I heard fom my appeal within 2 days.... I attended my appeal on the Thursday and got the letter with the outcome on Saturday so hopefully will be that quick for you. Good luck.

The admission appeal code says that the panel must communicate the decision in writing to the appellant and that must be no later than five school days after the appeal, unless there is good reason.
I have sat on appeals where there are 30+ letters to do and they all have to go out at the same time to both the appellants and the school in question. The letter has to contain enough detail so that the appellant knows why the appeal was rejected or approved, so they all do tend to be individual letters even if they do follow a set format.

the panel asked lots of questions to the appeal officer about how distance is measured on the map they provided and what the route was like which I thought was good, didnt ask me much but when it was my time to speak I kind of blurted everything out in 2 mins and regret it. it only lasted 20mins total.
they did say they would email the decision,
