Does any one have any views? Applied for our daughter to start this year in reception, got it and have since learnt it has dropped from a " good" to a "needs improvement" with ofstead. Just wished I has been more awake the last few years when it came to schools - had no idea catchment areas would become so small even for schools that weren,t outstanding. ( st Elizabeth was not my first choice ). Thanks. Posting for the first time. I otherwise lurk x

I know a bunch of kids there and they seem happy as do their parents. Ofsted doesn't always paint an accurate picture. DD went to an utterly brilliant nursery that didn't get a fabulous ofsted because the amazing head wasn't good at form filling. It didn't take away from how much we loved the place.

Thank you hackneyette. Schools' panic in hackney is something else. I am a glass half full type of person but was beginning to feel nervous about the ofsted.
