Hi, we are in the process of moving to Eaglescliffe (fingers crossed) and have a 4 year old who starts school in September. We have accepted a place in Darlington, where we currently live, but have been told there are spaces in a few primary schools in Eaglescliffe so we could transfer her there and she could start in September (even though we won't have moved by then). This is a very attractive option for us as we were getting very worried about the disruption moving from one school to another.
We don't know anyone in Eaglescliffe, we have chosen it because we like it and it has good schools and road links to Darlington for work. Does anyone here have children in primary schools in Eaglescliffe or know anything about the individual schools' reputations with parents? I have of course read the OFSTED reports and looked at results/good schools guide etc but nothing beats real life personal experience!
