Is Hill House academically strong?

My DS is only 2 and I am thinking of school options. I do not want to send him to a selective private school as I am against the idea of kids being tested at 3/4. Hill House seems a good option but I read it isn't very academic. I know it has very good exit results and so this can't be strictly true. DH and I did very well academically and DS seems ahead of his developmental milestones. If he turns out to be bright, would HH stretch him enough? I would be grateful if anyone could share their experience.
