Lytham St Annes/Blackpool area - relocating?

My partner's work have offered him a chance to transfer to their Blackpool depot and we really like the look of Lytham St Annes. The high school has a place for my 11 year old, but there is only one primary school with a place for my 6 year old.

Are there any other nice areas local folk could recommend to us as we don't know the area at all. Near good schools etc.

Thanks

Thanks very much theboob. We will take a look at all the areas you suggested. We are coming up at half term so we can have a proper look round.
