Answering KS1 Reading SATS

Had a go at marking my daughter's KS1 L2 Reading SAT. We're only doing it for fun, and not in exam conditions. We're HE so we won't have to do real ones. Couldn't work out whether children get marks for one word answers, or whether they have to answer in full sentences Does anyone know?
Noticed how prescriptive the answers were...no credit given for sensible answers from children noticing different things to the marker. Must be a pain for teachers who would probably rather use common sense.

The marking scheme should show you the acceptable answers.

Thanks for replying. It's just the Letts version and doesn't advise in it's marking scheme, so just needed a bit more help. Thanks Mrz, glad not to have to criticise her work unduly. I suppose it makes sense as it's a test of reading and not writing. Cheers all
