What to use to put hanging loops into school uniform?

Ds always has his stuff over the floor. What should I use to put decent hanging loops into his uniform? He may be a bit tough on them! Name and surname both short so his name tags aren't long enough. Tia!

I use lengths of ribbon and handsew them on to fuck with lots of knots at the end of the thread!

If it's got a laundry label on the back of the neck I thread some ribbon through this and tie it in a reef knot to make a loop. I normally recycle the really thin ribbon loops you get on clothes to help keep them on the hangers.

Only works if there is a laundry label, though!
