St Mary's College or Merchants

Hi,

I have decided to transfer my children to private school. I have 5 children, 3 in primary and 2 in secondary. I was wondering if anyone could give me any advice which school I could choose? Thanks

Are you talking about liverpool? If so check out st Mary's as I've heard rumours suggesting its struggling financially but it may not be true? Certainly a head teacher from another school

My daughter went to St Mary's and left a couple of years ago. I echo what jamtoast says. There were 4 classes in each year in my daughter's time but I see they are down to 2 in Year 7.

In my daughters time, I noticed there was more spread of academic ability and the school were not always good at pushing bright children who coasted. Pastoral care was good. A key factor in sending our daughter there was it being mixed and Merchant's single sex.
