It's dd's transition review of her statement soon. Can I ask what sort of input teachers and SENCos have in determining which sort of school would meet a child's needs at secondary?
Dd is thriving at her lovely inclusive mainstream primary but it's fair to say that this isn't any indicator of how she will fare in a mainstream secondary.
How can a parent push for a more specialist placement when they have no evidence if, because a school has been sensitive to needs and very inclusive, a child's time there has been very successful?
