Hi all

I'd like DD to keep up with her reading/maths/writing etc just a bit during the Easter hols, for half an hour or so a day. Can anyone recommend any website/activities I can print stuff off of or she can play with? Also, if anyone can post that link to free phonics e-books I would be v. grateful as I've lost it. :)

Thanks a million!

woodlands junior school, Kent website
BBC bitesize

and best of all a pen and paper.

I figured out I can use an ordinary ruler like a number line, hooray! Going to do a little math problem every night just before stories (DS phonics is fine but his math is laughably bad).

I would get a paper workbook as it also helps with forming letters and numbers compared to good apps or websites.

Raid the local library for books.

Play lots of games including numbers, letters, shapes and patterns.

Thanks guys. learn: Oxford Owl, that's it!

Why is the Woodlands School website so good? It's got everything on it! I'd like my DC to go to that school :)

If you have a The Works near you they have loads of great workbooks that my reception dd loves, especially the ones that come with lots of gold star stickers!
