Does anyone have experience of this school? It is our 3rd choice school but I am increasingly thinking (and fretting in the early hours) we are going to be assigned it as it is closer than our first two choices both of which are oversubscribed. We haven't yet been to look at it but location and size really put me off. So, what are the positives?

I know the juniors is very good....

Thanks. Yes I'm aware both the infants and juniors are rated outstanding but I'm looking for someone who can reassure me about the size of the schools as both have expanded in the last few years and have lost outdoor space as a result. They also draw from a very mixed area so I'd be interested to know how diverse the school really is and whether parents feel their children get sufficient support and attention.

I know what you mean about mixed area...but lots of those children get into the grammars. More than CCNM.
CHI is very diverse...2nd most diverse in Kingston.

Well I went there 43 years ago so I bet it's changed a bit since then . Lol

Are you still local?

narmada · 13/03/2013 13:48

Erm, is being a 'mixed area' a bad thing?! Because most areas of outer london are.
I don't have children there but I always heard really good things about it. Burlington has been oversubscribed in the past. Where do you live?

narmada · 13/03/2013 13:49

My DD goes to school in a mixed area - lots of wealthy parents and lots of not-so-wealthy parents, ethnically mixed too. It's great and better for being mixed IMHO.
