I've noticed a few people asking what level people think a particular piece of writing might be. I recently found this and think it's such a useful site.
It has examples of fiction and non fiction writing at every sub levels, annotated and with next steps for improvement. Of course, levelling writing is subjective and I don't totally agree with all the levels given, but it gives an idea of how we assess extended writing. Hope people find it useful!
